I am considering buying xbox live for my xbox (i dont have a 360 yet but might in the near future). I have several questions 1)if i bought the stuff for xbox live can i use that same stuff for xbox360 live and 2)if its a game available for both systems (ex. madden) can i play against people who have it on a 360...and since xbox 360 has been out a while now do ppl still use xboxlive or primarily only use it for a 360 Thanks!

1) Check the backwards compatibility list to make sure it runs on your new 360 system. If it does, you should have no problem logging onto Live with those games.

Plus, straight from the Microsoft FAQ:
" Q: Can I play original Xbox games on Xbox Live?
A: Yes! You will need an Xbox Live Gold membership to connect to play original Xbox games on Xbox Live."

2) Yes, I believe so.

3) A LOT of people use Xboxlive. It's one of the major selling points of the system. FPS are the ones that are mostly played, in my opinion.

As long as the game your playing on the Xbox is backwards compatibile with the 360 then you can still play with people who are using a 360. But if they are playing a 360 game, you obviously cannot play because you can't play a 360 game on the original Xbox.

When you buy an Xbox Live account for your Xbox, it is very easily transferred to your 360 when you purchase it and go on line.

Xbox live is the same for both systems, the 360 just has more to offer for people on line.
