how do you burn a dvd when theres already a movie on it?

the movie Doom was origionally burned on this dvd. i now want to reburn the same dvd into a different movie

You can only do the disk is a DVD-RW, DVD+RW, or DVD-RAM disk. If you do have one of these disks, use your burning software to erase the disk. If not, you will have to use another disk.

You can only do that on a rewritable DVD. I know I tried.

put it into fire it burns easily !! you can test .it works!!!
