Unfortunately, my heart and it continues to get me in trouble. I thought I'd grow out of it but since I'm 51 and just screwed up again a few weeks ago, I'm throwing in that towel!

Head, Your heart will usually get you in trouble. example 1.} If I were dating someone, and they were doing/selling drugs or something like that, or the person was a trouble maker ect, and my heart at the time told me that I liked/love the person, My head is smarter and tells me that I'll get in trouble or maybe change me if I get involved with that person or anyone like that.
example 2.} If I see a homeless person on the street and I have 100 bucks in my pocket to put on another 600 to make my rent payment or any bill payment ect. My heart tells me to give the homeless person some money (which he/she will probably use on beer and drugs anyways btw), But my head is smarter and says to me that if I give this person this money, I'll end up like them in the near future.
example 3.} If I can't sing, But I like singing, My heart tells me to go on American idol to try out for an audition to persue my singing ambition, My head is smarter though and tells me that if I go on there, and Simon totally disses/embarasses me on live national television, then I wont ever get to show my face ever again back home.
Example 4.} Someone makes fun of me at school constantly, My heart tells me that I should go to school and shoot their brains out untill It feels better, But my head is smarter and tells me that they're just making fun of me to make themselves feel better and that they're too imature to realize that they're doing it because they're just jealous of you, or fear you. and that if I follow my heart I'll be in jail for the rest of my life being someone else's girlfriend by force and probably end up going mad while they had a quick and painless death.

So in conclusion, my point is that your head is most of the time smarter than your heart, Although a lot of times the feeling in your heart is much stronger than the one in your head. Which results in people doing what my examples showed they'd do if they do follow their hearts in those situations.
