To import songs from a cd to an ipod, you need to make sure your computer has i-tunes, which if it doesn't, should come with the ipod. Then you insert the CD into the CD-rom drive and make sure it opens in itunes. Then select all songs on the Audio-CD, right click and click on "Convert Selection to AAC." After loading all the songs you want from as many CDs as you want, then connect the ipod to the computer and it should automatically update, including adding any new songs you have on itunes. Hope this helps. If you have any more questions, just shoot me an e-mail.

Hello from Harlem! what I do is I go to the music playlist and then check the list that I would like to have added to my ipod mini.
The other thing I do is I remove the check makes from the other playlist because if you have all of the boxes checked then it will let you know you do not have room for all of the playlists.
One more thing that you may want to do is make a new playlist using the cd that you added to itunes then from there make a name for that playlist so you will know which songs you want to have added to you ipod.
All right please let me know how it tunes out. before I forget you can also drag songs from the other playlist that you have and then decided which ones you want to have added to you ipod as well.

You could get one of those new CD players with a hookup for your IPOD.
