The first Pirates of the Carribean is definitely a good movie. The sequel is alright, but can barely even be considered a movie. Did it even have a climax? It certainly didn't have a conclusion. As for best movie ever - no way. It has no thought to it. It's a fun entertaining work, but there's nothing to it, it's just a well-done blockbuster.

Its' the best movie ive seen !!! I Just LOVED that movie so much and it's the one that made me fall head over heels for the fabulousy sexy and talented Johnny Depp in the first place !!! i am just totally smitten with that man !!! he does such a wonderful job as 'capt. jack sparrow' !!! and then i watched the first Pirates movie and loved that one too !! they are both GREAT !!!!!!!!!!! there is lots of action and lots of funny parts to it also .. its well worth watching and well worth buying it !!!!

First of all, learn to spell...top movies ever would have to be Godfather 1 & 2, Seven Samurai, The General....to name a few. Pirates would not even crack the top 50.
