Strong tea. Lipton. Try it on your old tights first, in case it doesn't work well.

People use it to color ballroom shoes. I prefer Dylon dye, but you said you want cheap and most importantly quick.

Hair color. See if you can find a colorist at a salon who can match your skin tone to hair dye. Explain your situation: they're usually very cooperative. Get directions for applying the color to hair, and follow them with the tights. Good luck, and break a leg!

You can buy clothing dye for about $2-3 in the detergent aisle or where they sell fabrics. It's easy to do and doesn't take a lot of time.

I like the hair colour idea...however... I gotta wonder how the tights will take any dye at all, if the fabric content of them is purely synthetic.
Rit might work if it will take any dye at all...but it tends to wash out easily.
You might want to try strong strong coffee too...again, if the fabric takes to dyeing.
For how to's, and addtional info see site below (I know it's too late to order).
Good luck with the dyeing and your performance!!

Rits fabric dye is in the laundry section of the grocery store. The liquid seems to work better than the powder.

go to hobby lobby or some other craft store and buy a fabric dye, but let tights sit in cold water in the sink, dont use hot water, because that will shrink your tights, max $5

Anything..I love to doing my happy dance. (: Usually I do a happy dance whenever I say "Act Natural!!" and I act like a cow. And then people smile. And some little kids do the same. When I had my math test, the principal walked in so i did that. And he laughed. So I did my happy dance,,,which by the way is me dancing around saying "hopping tomatoes!!" which does not make math teachers want to frown. (:
