it is bad for pregnant women cause it causes your body temp to rise and that can cause birth defects. It is the same with hot tubs or really hot baths.

When you go into a steam room or hot tub your temp goes up and your body sweats to cool down. Her baby can't do that and could cause major problems if not die from the heat.

Stream rooms and hot tubs are not a good idea during pregnancy. The extreme heat of them can cause preterm labor and for those not far along miscarriage.

Same as a hot tub, the heat. If a mother's body temp gets over 104 it can cause brain damage to the baby.

Because the fetus is unable to regulate it's own body tempurature. If mom gets too hot, baby will overheat and not be able to cool down.
Same goes for too hot baths and jacuzzi's.

The mother's core temperature could rise to the point where the baby would be injured (similar to having a fever).

Saunas and hot tubs are never good for pregnant women. Just because you can take the heat, doesn't mean your growing baby can.

It's very dangerous for the baby because an adult will overheat much slower than the baby. So while the mother may feel fine you could be cooking your baby.
