Tim Burton? Are you serious? The boy is whacked. He should be locked up for wasting good studio money on the junk he calls movies.
In the entertainment arena I'd say Clint Eastwood is a genius.

Iknow you will think I am wrong in saying this but I think Opera is probably a genius as far as promoting herself goes. She is all over the place and one of the most wealthy people there are.

I wouldn't say genius exactly, but some clever folks are: Warren Zevon (singer) (deceased), Elvis Costello (singer), Joe Queenan (author/cultural critic).

I'd have to say Jack Kervorkian. Someone who is a groundbreaker, a rule breaker, to me, is a genius. Dr. Death held fast to his beliefs and went to prison because of them. By the way, he will be paroled in June 2007.
