It will never disappear but its popularity will decline now that people realize talking points and insults do not solve the world’s ills. The reason why it will never vanish is, there are far too many people living in the US that are loyal to a political party rather than this country and what it represents. They are the people who need another person to tell them what to think rather than develop individual thoughts. It will not disappear put it will shrink in size.

Nope! but most left wing radio are packing it in I guess they don't make much sense or people would listen to them. Left wing newspaper and tv news are declining also as more and more people get sick of the slant and bias.

I REALLY DON'T THINK SO. NOW, INSTEAD OF BEING ON THE DEFENSIVE ABOUT SUBJECTS, THEY CAN RETURN TO THE OFFENSE AND COMPLAINING ABOUT THE STATUS QUO IN THE CONGRESS. THAT'S HOW RIGHT WING RADIO GOT SUCH A HUGE BOOST IN THE NINETIES. DEFENDING POSITIONS AND CRITICIZING CURRENT THOUGHT ARE MILES APART IN APPROACH. THE LAST SIX YEARS HAVE SHOWN WHAT CONSTANT UNFOUNDED CRITICISM CAN DO. IF YOU REPEAT A LIE OFTEN ENOUGH PRETTY SOON FOLKS START TO BELIEVE IT. THE LEFT GOT A LOT A MILEAGE OUT OF THAT APPROACH.
