Tell me what you think of 13 year-olds.I am doing a paper on what adults think of 13 year-olds.I'm basically looking for things like if you think we are immature and stuff like that?

I couldn't imagine in todays pop culture, the pressure you all must be under to look, act and be a certain way. Your role models are people like Britney, Paris and Nicole. Now, I'm probably generalizing here a bit, but when I was 13, whoever was on MTV was a role model. All the pressure to be rich, thin, popular and all that that goes along with it is way worse then it was even 10 years ago. Lots of your parents work, so your basicly dependant upon yourselves to cook, clean and care for. I think that 13 year olds now days are smarter then years ago. You have all this technology at your finger tips. You choices are limitless as far as what you want to do and who you want to be. You are our future!

I don't think 13 year olds are immature, I think they are just acting the age they should! I mean I remember being that age and if I acted like that now, then it would be immature because I'm 33. I love everything my 13 year old daughter does. It's fun to watch her and her friends as they enter this stage (Being a teenager!) of their lives!

it depends on the 13 yr old - some are still immature but some are very intelligent and adult-like,also a lot of kids that are nit good communicators- so its hard to determine their true maturity level

13 year olds are always on a roller coaster of emotions. They want to be treated like adults, yet they want to assume no responsibility for anything. They aren't very dependable and they think they know everything. It's like the terrible two's, but at an older age.

All I know is I used to be one..many moons ago. All I remember is that I was a spoiled brat and got picked on by my big brothers alot. Im still a spoiled brat but that's only cause my hubby loves me, and spoils me. My brother's dont pick on me anymore because my hubby is bigger than they are and will pick on them...lol
