Good morality and values are because of self-learned values (what you truly believe, and what you are taught to believe), and also from observing the values and behaviors of others.

Theres a battle in the world of psychology of whether or not who you are is determined by upbringing and your surroundings, or if its already in your genes to begin with... i think it's touching on that a bit, also.
