in the sci-fi movie, Attack of the 50 ft. Woman, the main character got zapped by laser-toting aliens as she was driving home fighting w/ her husband. Afterward, she grows taller every time she gets angry and eventually grows to 50 ft.
in scientific terms, what may the aliens have zapped her with in order to make her grow?

The thing is, a person can't be expanded/shrunk like the movies show.
First off, if we were that tall, to support us our bones would have to be made out of metal. Also, if the cells themselves are expanding/collapsing, then the oxygen/water/etc woy would need woul also have to be the same size.
(That irritates me when they show something like "Honey, I Shrunk The Kids" or something similar. They wouldn't be able to breathe regular air.)
