My wife's salon does a gift exchange like this & our Sunday School class too...all the gifts end up on the floor and one by one a person gets to pick a gift, or steal the gift from the pervious "puller". Everyone has a bring a gift that they would want to keep...no cheap crap allowed. Some of mine have been: the local Publix Grocery Store's bakery makes a great gingerbread house and they come wrapped in a "balloon"...have to wrap carefully in a good size box; or a microwave 'tub' of popcorn from Blockbusters, filled with large boxes of 'movie' candy and a couple of cans of coke, with a $20.00 gift certificate from one of the local movie theaters; some cheese, a box of assorted, but very good crackers and a bottle of good wine...I like Fess Parker's or Coppola's for good value.

I got one last week that was SO cool. There was a gift card for 2 movies at blockbuster, a six pack of cokes, 2 bags of microwave popcorn and some m&ms. All I had to do was get a movie on the way home and I was all set for a relaxing movie night at home.

How about this... Buy a nice coffee mug for about 2 bucks... put 2 candy bars in it and a tea bags... and 2 or 3 $ 5 dollar gift cards... like one to a movie rental place, one to a fast food joint, and one to a book store! Makes a cute and easy gift.
