The company admitted their error and tried to run my business credit card through without authorization. 45 days have elapsed since the authorized purchase they underbilled.

Any help is appreciated!

Probably you will have to pay the amount plus interest! Depends on where you are, laws vary! How did ya get the company to underbill yours?

Depends on how much it is. If it's not much just pay them and cut the crap off.

Otherwise, read the Terms of Sales or Sales Contract again. If it's between you and the seller, you'd be responsible. If the contract is between your company and the seller, then you should inform your company about under-billing and let the seller fix their invoice.

It's not your mistake alone. Why the seller underbilled your company? You should be able to get reimbursement from your company if you have a receipt and if you're authorized to purchase such item.

Good Luck!

If you were under contract to pay $2000 but were only given a bill for $1500, you are probably leaglly required to pay up. If you buy 50 units of object A for $20/unit and they now say the price should have been $25/unit, there is probably no legal requirement to pay. It would totally depend on your legal arrangement with this company.

Why would I want to be on bad terms with the other company?

That's the question you should be asking.

ARe you trying to get out of it. Do the right thing and pay them if you owe it. You did hire them for whatever service or item. They are entitled to it.
