ABSOLUTELY!! They--the Bush Crime Family--have outsourced everything they possible could. They even hired private non-U.S. entities to do the interrogation at their illegal prisons in Europe. How can we expect our troops to have moral when their protecting private individuals doing work they could do, that are getting paid 3 times what they are. It's insane. Why on earth would anyone wanna volunteer for our armed services when those facts exist?

I really love your additional details, but fact is warning shots have saved several lives. Several folks travel down a road where their is a checkpoint much like we travel down the interstate in our homeland today. We often miss signs of construction up ahead and often we get tickets for speeding in a construction zone. Now consider that construction zone a checkpoint and your driving and not paying attention. Is it better to get killed because the ROE sais we can kill these people or if we can fire a warning shot to get his attention and save some lives wouldn't that be better. I instrusted my platoon to fire warning shots first. That General you spoke about was wrong because I know the ROE well. If the girl was killed then ol well it is a war and guess what she is gone, and their is no changing that. My thoughts are they did what they thought was necessary to survive. I am guessing your either a vet of the war or some damn protestor who did a lot of research but if your a vet then why ask this question? If your anybody else you don't even rate to ask this question. Any thoughts on that?

I can't say the real reason on this forum.

But the Army now has a published 17 to 1 ratio of combat to support personal. That number was still not enough to provide for it's self. ie Build housing etc for those 127,000 men that support the 8,000 combatants.

Research the Rumsfeld Transformation policy.

MY BELIEF AS TO WHY IRAQ WAS INVADED. IT MAY SEEM A BIT FAR FETCHED TO SOME BUT I THINK IT MAKES SENSE.

THE U.S. ECONOMY WAS AND IS STAGNANT I THINK THAT IRAQ WAS INVADED TO STIMULATE THE ECONOMY. IN OTHER WORDS TO BUILD A VIABLE ECONOMY IN IRAQ SO THAT THE BIG CORPORATIONS OF THE COALITION CAN INSTALL THEIR PRODUCTS, FRANCHISES, ETC.
ONCE DEMOCRACY IS ESTABLISHED AND THE IRAQI PEOPLE ARE ON THE WAY TO AN INDEPENDENT ECONOMY FULL OF OIL MONEY TO SPEND ON AMERICAN CORPORATIONS. THEY ARE TRYING TO BUILD UP ANOTHER SAUDI ARABIA TYPE OF COUNTRY WHERE THE POPULATION CAN SPEND THEIR EXCESS CASH ON AMERICAN PRODUCTS AND BUSINESSES. THAT'S IS WHY THEY HAVE HALLIBURTON BUILDING THE INFRASTRUCTURE SO FAST. THEY HAVE TO GET THE COUNTRY UP AND RUNNING SO THAT THE MONEY CAN START TO FLOW.

THEY JUST DID NOT PLAN FOR AN INSURGENCY TO FOUL UP THE MASTER PLAN. OF COURSE PLENTY OF BUSINESS MEN WILL LINE THEIR POCKETS IN THE MEAN TIME BUT I BELIEVE THE OVER ALL GOAL IS TO CREATE A VIABLE ECONOMY SO THAT AMERICAN AND COALITION CORPORATIONS CAN SET UP SHOP IN ANOTHER PART OF THE WORLD TO DRUM UP MORE MONEY FOR THEM SELVES. THIS WAR IS BEING DRIVEN BY BIG BUSINESS. OF WHICH OIL IS JUST THE MEANS TO PULL CASH OUT OF HOPEFULLY SOON TO BE RICH IRAQI BUSINESS MEN AND FAMILIES.
