Can someone tell me the difference between Make Motives Static/Dynamic?

make motives static means the motives wont go up or down, but remain static/the same, dynamic means the motives will go up and down as normal

are you talking about the PS2 game or the computer game? Cause i am an avid player of all the Sims game for PS2 and have never heard of Static/Dynamic?

i think:

if it's static, their aspirations don't change throughout their life time. if it's dynamic, they might change depending on what the sims feels like and what his/her overall life was like.
