I thought this was the cycle. but today i got a light AF on time with severe cramping that now I can't feel because of pain medication. Recently though my stomache has been different like there's something inside of it. Like it's bloated, or bigger but hard, not bigger from fat, and i've been having pg symptoms, but (I'm a thin gal) I've been getting my period on time, although they've been light and short, but still painful. Can the hormone not show in the urine? can you bleed liek you're on your period but still be pregnant and can that mess up the hormones for the test?

my dh thinks I'm a hypochondriac, so he doesn't think I need to go to the doctor, but hey, you knwo when something's not right with your body, am I right?

The four or five month thing sounds about right actually because I AM bigger. I had amiscarraige a while ago, and if I didn't have it, I would be four months along. As for negative tests, toward the end of every "cycle" i have a few ambiguous tests where I can't tell if it's positive or negative, like i'm not sure if my eyes are playing tricks on me. but then I get AF so I'm like ok, negative it is

I would go to the Dr if you are that worried. they can do a blood test to tell you if you are or are not pregnant. You're right. you do know when something is wrong with your body, dont let dh get to you, but discuss it with your dr. he'll be able to figure out whats going on better than anyone...

If you have your period then your not pregnant.
It is normal to have pain before and after your period. Completely normal.
You may WANT to be pregnant so you THINK you have pregnancy symptoms when in fact you really don't.
1. For one thing, Your stomach doesn't get hard until your around your 4 or 5th month of pregnancy and by that time you will be showing quit a bit.
2. t is common to get bloated before your on your period and while your on it also. Eating certain foods will make you bloated also.
3. If your pregnant it would show up on a pregnancy test. Pregnancy will pick up the hormone even if you are bleeding.

I took a pregnancy test and it was positive and I started to bleed. I was having a miscarriage. Even after I miscarried the baby the hormone was still in my body while I was bleeding. So if your pregnant, it doesn't matter if your bleeding or not, it will show up.

Sorry but your not pregnant.

You're right--you know when something's not right with your body.

Yes, you can menstruate during your pregnancy. I did (but only for the first month).

Think about your symptoms. Maybe you're pregnant and maybe you're not. I once had to argue with my doctor, when I tested too soon and got a negative, but I just knew I was pregnant. So I waited the number of weeks they told me to and the next test was positive.

You are not a hypochondriac. Your symptoms are also the symptoms for ovarian or peritoneal cancer. If your new pregnancy test is negative for pregnancy, then ask for the CA-125 test to rule out cancer. Many women have had to fight for that test to save their own lives.

Read the following about the CA-125 test and "false negatives"
http://www.monitor.net/ovarian/ca125.html
"* CAUTION! Almost 20 percent of women who have ovarian cancer do not ever have elevated CA-125. That is why it is ESSENTIAL to use CA-125 only as part of a diagnostic regiment that includes transvaginal sonography and a rectovaginal pelvic exam."

Some women experience a period even when they are pregnant. So if I was you I would go and have the hospital do a test or at least an exam, especially if you are having severe cramps.

I would suggest you call you regular OB/GYN. He would know what your symptoms are. You could be pregnant. But if all your tests show up negative and your period is already late, I would see a doctor.
