Ok Apple, first, is your child a drug baby?, You know what I mean, did you or the childs father use drugs at the time of conception? If that is the case them some sort of drug treatment may be in order, some homepathic treatments are probably as good as perscribed drugs, however I don't like either. Now a lot of your childs problems could stem from home life, or a lack of discipline, or a lack of your time and love. No two children are alike so you will have to find a way to try to control and teach your child. Spanking works great for most if applied correctly, but they are a few who do not react well to this. Some have to be deprived of things they like and so on. It is not easy my friend, and I have raised some good ones and some devils too. G

Most kids who are "labeled" hyperactive are just not getting enough stimulation. Had a nephew like that and when they moved him to a higher level class, he was a different kid. not sure what drugs or homeopathic stuff really works as everyone is different and reacts differently to everything.

I raised a son with ADHD tried several treatments before we found what would work with his unique system. That's the key, finding what matches the child's system. We had great results with stimulants. Coffee, tea, and even in a pinch Mt. Dew. We'd give him a cup of coffee in the morning before school. They would in turn give him one for lunch.
