What is your favorite animated movie and why? What's your favorite part of it?
I am trying to buy my 4 year old niece all of the best movies for kids and I would love any ideas :)

The Fox and the Hound. It teaches about not judging by what you look like and just being friends because you like each other. It is a great movie, very sad, but very good.

My favorite is Disney's Beauty and the Beast, but your niece will probably not be able to appreciate it for at least a couple of years. I like it because Belle, the female main character, is intelligent and independent. I also like the main plot, which is a love story. The songs are good and at the time the film was considered a breakthrough in animation.

Lilo & Stitch, I just think Stitch is so cute, but the movie also teaches about family. Quote from Lilo Ohana means family, family means nobody gets left behind" Quote from Stitch This is my family. I found it, all on my own. It's little, and broken, but still good. Yeah, still good" My favorite part when he finds the picture of Lilo's family and the picture of the duck. Stitch leaves with the duck book and he says I'm lost. Also when Nani sings to Lilo when they are sitting in the hammock. Both scenes are very touching.

When I was little, my faveourite movie ever was Beauty and the Beast.
I watched it twice a day! haha
..and for whoever said it would be too scary for a four year old, i watched it when i was 2 =P
As for the best part? THE WHOLE THING !

Beauty and the Beast - any part of it as its a great film but may be a bit scary for a 4 year old.

my favorite animated movie is "The Little Mermaid" i'm not sure why i like it, i just do. my favorite part of the movie is when ariel saves eric and sings to him.

ice age 1&2 : teaches to stand together in spite of differences. my fav part in the first one is where the dodo's fight manny, sid and diego for the mellons, but loses them all. my fav part in the second one is where they meet the possums

Charlottes web I grew up watching the cartoon version and read the book. She will love it.
