You can never legally download copyrighted music for free.
There's loads of places you can do it though. Limewire and other mp3 d/l sites are rubbish. If you're going to do it use bit torrent.

You cannot legally download copyrighted music for free.

Websites may say they are free but they are not. If you read the terms and conditions carefully they do state that you can only legally download a 'Sample' of a song.

The websites which I will recommend are:

www.gomusic.ru and www.allofmp3.com.

These sites are legal and they are Russian, that is why the prices are so cheap.

music from limewire is illegal. if you can wait about a month, a website called www.spiralfrog.com will offer free, legal ad supported music downloads. check it out!

www.mp3000.net is a great site for downloading the latest music for free and it's legal.

Any downloading of songs for free is illegal. The fines for this are in the hundreds of thousands. If you want to risk that much for one song its you choice.

Soulseek... http://www.slsknet.org is a great place. If your looking for electronic dance music or heavy rock, soulseek will benifit you greatly.

i don't know of one but emusic do a free trial. just cancel after the month.

www.limewire.com is what I use and there is no adware or anything like that. I've used it for quite a while and have had no problems at all
