Is this a lucrative business? Do any of you out there have such investments and how do you find the income to be at the end of the day? Which machines do you think are a better buy, etc...

I would appreciate your input on this

It's a business like any other. And like any business, it's a lot of work. I did it and I did okay. I did bulk vendors. Gumballs and such. You need a lot of them to make it worthwhile. Try it for yourself. If you don't like it you can sell them. At a loss of course but you may do really well.

I've looked into it as a franchisee. Not a good idea. Perhaps if you did it as an independent. Need machines and service when they need repair. Need good locations. If you can fix 'em yourself and get good sites for reasonable fees, you can probably make a go of it. A sound business plan is very important.
