I'd say at least 21, maybe 25. 16 is too young to understand the consequences. Teenagers almost never think about death and act as if they're indestructible. Sadly, some people never reach the level of maturity a driver should have (I see a few of them tailgating every day) but raising the driving age a little might avoid a few fatalities.

when your a senior in high school. all these sophmore and junoir kids get to drive because their parent buy them cars and pay for their insurance when i i have to pay for everything myself i still dont even have a car and im a senior in high school
