Me! I am my biggest obstacle to overcome. Negativity, self-doubt etc keep me from living life to its fullest & being happy. I am my own worst enemy in some ways. But I'm working on it! Trying to be more positive. Trying to believe in myself. Taking risks. I've done pretty well in the past year. It's a constant battle though. I'm a natural pessimist. Trying to be optimistic is a stretch. I find it easier to give good advice than to take it myself!

Walaykumsalaam. I have a few things that bother me. Number 1 is that I'm afraid for my 7 year old sister and 5 year old brother that they will never learn about Islam. Thankfully I've already talked with my husband and we've agreed to marry her off to the 11 year old nephew. The second thing that bothers me is that my mother hates me for being a Muslim and will never revert to Islam because she chooses to be close minded about Islam and thinks all Muslims are terrorists. Third is the fact that many people stare at me for wearing hijab like I'm a freak and choose to think that all Muslims are terrorists out to destroy Israel and the West which isn't true. My biggest challenge is knowing I can't do anything for my brother and sister and that they will grow up to be racists since my entire family are racists and will grow up not knowing anything about Islam.

Speaking to people about the Bible. If I do it more often, I will become more confident ate it. The problem has been hanging over me for years, though. If I made more of an effort, I could achieve an ideal level of confidence in a year or two.
I'm also currently producing a newsletter for local adult learners. I'm aiming for it to be like a regular magazine. At the moment, it's 4 A4 pages. It's about to go glossy. I'm also about to use a proper desk top publisher for the first time in designing it's layout. It's growing all the time and may reach it's full potential in two or three years.

I'd like to finish reading my books, Moby Dick or Being and Nothingness el al.
As with all things in life and I can only complete something if there is a deadline. Buying presents by Christmas, making an appointment. Otherwise, I figure it could wait another day.
I guess if I knew when I was going to die I could plan my life according!
I'm not being morbid, just practical. You mentioned a time span, what is it?

Personally, the biggest challenge of life is accepting it for what it is. Accepting death as a part of it. that the life you grew up with as a child changes , people surroundings and ways of life change!

Remove racism. Would take a lifetime, but would be worth it for the next generation.
Keep speaking out against racism and focus on love.
Remind people that racism is taught, not inborn.
Live as an example of this.

I would like to conquer Mount Everest at some point in my life. I have a cousin who was killed in 1998 in that accident that claimed 8 lives in total. My cousin was one of the climbing leaders, and died saving 3 people, who are still alive today. I would like to make that climb to say "You haven't gotten the best of my family!"
