Don't be fake and you will attract people who are in your same path way to life. If your fake that is when people get in trouble.

Well, in life you will meet all kinds of people. Some that have the same idealism as you and most others that wont.In friends the ones that are likely to be really good friends will have the same interests and mannerism as yourself.So, Its most likely that you will get your best chance to find a friend when it comes to things or places that you have a big interest in.Like if you are into a certain sport,then get involved in that and this way you will be surrounded by others that are into it as well. Then just pay attention to conversations and join in on them.Before long you will find those that are like you and make friends.
Don't hurt to try.

You cant. It has to come naturally. Any tips I could give you would mean that you would have to change your personality and you should never change yourself just so someone will like you. Some people just dont have any or many friends. Im sure you're gifted in some other area.

There is a saying: "You can make more friends in 2 months by becoming interested in people than you can in 2 years by trying to get people to be interested in you."
You have to talk to people, reach out and don't fear rejection.

try reading the book "How To Talk To Anyone" by Leil Lowndes. Thats a great book to teach people how to be a very friendly person, etc.

If your school age then meet people there.. or at work or at church or some type of group function thing. look on craigslist in your area at the local events going on.

be friendly ot people. if someone says hi, then say hi back or you could just say hi to the people u want 2 be friends with. making friends is quite hard but once ur used to it, its EASY
