Do you think he has time to talk to everyone with an idea? There are 300,000,000 Americans. If .0001% wanted to talk to him on a given day, that would be 300 phone calls a day. If each call took an average of 2 minutes, that would have him on the phone 10 hrs a day just for these calls.

first of all, if anyone who wanted to schmooze with the president could then he would have no time to run the country, he is pretty well known.
Good News: --> second, from what i hear if you write you actually get a real response (from a staff of responders) and I imagine that if your comments are really special then they will be flagged and moved higher up and up and if worthy eventually will make it to him.

If you could easily contact the president directly, he would be talking to concerned citizens 24/7 and would have no time to do his job (not that he's doing it anyway). You can easily contact his representatives or your congressional representative though.

People in high places are insulated from public opinion, so only those with money to pay for the priveledge (e. g., lobbyists) can influence their thinking. IOW, "by the people" has been wiped out to protect the guilty.
Note that even Rush Limbaugh has his calls screened, so you can only talk to him if you agree with him. And if someone with an opposing view slips in he insults them and hangs up.

Cuz he doesn't give a ratzass what you or anyone else has to say.
At least Nixon sneaked out of the White House and talked with the protestors. (True fact, gave the Secret Service FITS!)

Because you aren't a rich republican political contributor or lobbyist for a large company that gives him money. You are a citizen of the USA and he doesn't care about you, or anyone else for that matter. He's spoiled lazy and a coward. Supposedly he's already bought lots of land in Paraguay, where I 'm guessing he's going to flee there if they try to get him for war crimes. Maybe you can find him there.
