The opposing teams are doubling Walker and taking him out of the game. So Cutler is being smart by not forcing the ball into that coverage.

Because he's a rookie and he's pressured. Plus, Javon Walker isn't a Tight End and Tight Ends usually end up being the Target Reciever for most rookie QB's becuase they are big and right there in the middle. and until cutler gets broken in (probably not till next season) Walker's stats will be limited

Great question. I have been wondering that myself. Walker can make Cutler a superstar if cutler would just throw the ball to him. But i honestly think that its because Cutler is a rookie and he is nervous in the pocket. He checks down to soon to his tight end or RB in the flat because they are shorter easier passes. He is afraid to make a mistake. In due time, once he settles down and gets comfortable with the offense and in the pocket then he'll be getting the ball to Walker more often.

They need to develop a rapport. They have had little to no practice time together until a few weeks ago. They'll make use of Javon Walker though. They have to. They used a good draft pick to get him.

Becuse he's been busy getting it to rookie tight end Tony Scheffler Since Cutler's become QB, Tony's gotten 10 catches for 148 yards and 2 TD's in 2 games.

Cutler hasn't really been getting the ball to anyone

I can talk because I'm a steelers fan...and even though it stung I must share what my friend said to me last night. He said that Ben Roethlisberger has thrown more touchdown passes for the Raiders this year than Andrew Walter has.

The playbook is a bit "limited" currently while we break in a rook.

Don't worry. Cutler is a tremendous talent and it will happen.
