OK Superpowers are a cool idea, I wish I could have some. I like several like:
* Instant Teleportation
* Heinsight (great for the national lottery)
* Genie Powers (without the lamp)
and my all time favourite Metamorphosis
Although I would like my all time favourite, I'm sure I would just opt for Insant Teleportation. Getting to work via the tube and tarin are so lengthy, and the cost of having a car is just too expensive to contemplate.

I think super speed would be a great power. You could totally avoid many kinds of harm, and help people without making a big show of it. Also, it would just be fun to be able to get places in a flash while other people are standing still.

If i were a Superhero, i'd give myself one bit of each of all the other Superhero's power so i'd be like running round with lots of little superpowers but i'd have to think up one huge superpower to beat all the other Superhero's.

I choose Cosmic Power. This is the force that sustains "Planetary/ Galactic level beings" like Silver Surfer and Galactus. It also allows the Surfer to survive in space, project beams of energy, enhanced durability and strength, as well as many other abilities. (In fact all of Silver Surfer's powers are derived from the Power Cosmic!)

to manipulate wind, making as sharp or dull as i want at will (think of this: the person you hate is standing right in front of you, and you can impale them with a pillar of air!). i wouldn't want to be a superhero, though.
