That far out, yes they should both be the same. It's early detection that matters in the type of test. I would call your doctor and get in soon. You may have a problem, and even if not pregnant at all....any woman who misses two consecutive months usually needs something (both a shot and a 3 day pill routine) to help bring the period to aviod further complications. Good Luck!

I tested 7 days before my period and got accurate results. Positive!
Surprisingly, cheap tests purchased at dollar stores or on the Internet are often more sensitive and reliable than expensive store brands. HPT's are like soda: very cheap to make, and marked up quite a bit for retail.
They are all the same only the price is different.
Good luck

I had a false negative from a supermarket own brand test and personally would use clear blue. Do you have a family planning clinic near by - they will usually do a test for free? They're also hospital standard. Good luck.

Yes - they all look for the same chemical in your pee which is the hormone which is only there if you are pregnant. Doctors even use the same ones as in shops so no point going to docs if you get a positive one. Clear Blue is just a brand name Tesco's probably get them to make them anyway.

even generic brand tests are accurate. I got mine at the 99 cents only store and they were accurate for both pregnancies. I also tested even before I missed my period so I would say you might not be pregnant BUT you should go to the doctor to be sure.

I used a cheap test and it came back negative so I bought a clear blue. That was positive. Go with clear blue. Good luck.

IT SHOULD NOT MATTER BUT I WOULD JUST GO TO THE DOCTOR AND GET A BLOOD TEST TO BE SURE. THOSE CHEAP TEST YOUR HCG LEVELS HAVE TO BE PRETTY HIGH. THEY ARE NOT FOR DETECTING EARLY BUT ALL PREG TEST MEASURE THE SAME THING THE HCG LEVELS IN THE URINE.
