Im with you, they are getting lucky plus the schedule they have is not as hard as it is for other teams. Yes they Devon Hester, and he is good!!! However, once the bears opponents realize not to kick the ball to him , then what?????? Rex needs to get it together or they wont last in the playoffs!!

Ok this is from a die hard Bears fan. First of all there Defense and special teams, and even there running game has pulled them to victories, A great D can do that for youand thats what the bears have is a great D.NOW What will hurt the bears Is Grossman 15 or so T.O in the last 7 games, that alone makes me Nervous If that continues in this weeks game It may be time for griese to come in.At times that can hurt a Club to go to a Different Q.B But it also may help. Grossman when he is rushed to throw always Goes deep other teams are seeing that now.Hopefully he can get his act straight here and play like a class act Q.B would (Such as Brady Or Manning) Or the beras will be knocked out in the 2nd round because of him, They are a good club at times lucky ,but there are alot of teams that are lucky and if luck is what it takes to win games then so be it.

Are you kidding? they have not been getting lucky...Their D and special teams has been bailing them out...thats not the same as lucky....lucky would be like if the other team fumbles the snap in the end zone adn they recover...not picking off passes and hitting people so hard they drop the ball and almost their heads
Devin Hester has single handedly won 2 games for them this season at least.
The Bears are good, in 2 out of 3 aspects...I firmly believe if they can play mistake free on offense they can go far...they don't need to put up 400 yards and 30 points on offense...but they need to take care of the ball and let the D and ST do the rest

Devon Hester isn't lucky. He's really, really good. So is their defense. The Ravens won a Super Bowl with a great defense a few years ago. When you have special teams and defense like the Bears, you don't need an offense. That's not luck. That's extreme skill in 2/3 of the game.
I mean...look at last year. They got a first round bye and had home field advantage with a below average rookie quarterback. They're a great team, with or without an offense.

The Bears are good but they aren't great, and they aren't (in my opinion) a true No. 1 seed. You can argue the same thing about the Saints too, except they do it on both sides of the ball. No one was really arguing about the Bears until Grossman started completing all these passes to the secondary, lol. I still don't see them going to the Super Bowl.

they are not lucky they are relentless, and that is why they are so good. The Bears never give up, and they always believe they can win. and that kind of attitude is needed more in the NFL. I have seen to many teems quit when they get behind or not finish strong when they have the lead. It is true that Defenses ( and Special teams) win Championships, but so does a winning Spirit and the Bears have both in abundance.

Yes, they got lucky 2 years in a row, you're exactly right. and No team has won on PURE skill. It requires a little bit of luck.
and besides, read what everyone else is saying. DEFENSE wins championships. Last year, steelers, year before Patriots and so on and so forth.
Yes they won becuase they had an offense that produced more points then their defence, but still, there defence carried both teams to winning the super bowl

Actually, any true fan of the game or even someone remotely knowing what they are talking about would realize they are both.
They are a VERY good team and yes they have been VERY lucky at times.
Thats a combination that most great teams have had.

To whoever said the Bears are losing in the first round of playoffs, they won't. Why? Because they've clinched first round bye. I wouldn't say they've been lucky the whole season, but they've been lucky a few games, especially the Arizona game.

I have realized that the Bears D is the best in the league. Their offense is horrible but their D makes up for it and thats why they win. To say that they aren't good tells me two things.
1. You don't know anything about football
2. The Bears beat your team
btw I am a Chief fan
