I agree with you.
It starts in goal. Huet is a great goalie. Sheldon Souray may be the most underrated defenseman in the league. Their forwards are ALL fast. I find myself rooting for this team more and more.
I have the Center Ice package, so every once in a while, I get the French-language broadcast from Quebec of the Canadiens. I love that!

Montreal Canadiens are playing great hockey we come back from being down in the 3rd and we can keep a lead when we need to, it's not like the past few years when we would just get out scored. Huet is clearly the best goalie in the NHL and I'm not just saying that cause he is the goalie of my Habs but the last two games he played he let in like 3 goals and faced over 80 shots. Koivu is also on fire and are team is playing as a team and they never give up. we are only 9 pts from the Sabres that's only 4 wins and one tie and we are only 1-1-3 vs the Sabres 3 wins for them in shoot out when it comes to playoffs Huet will be on top.
GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

They're braking old habits from the last couple of seasons. For example the habs would slump big time in the month of December . Another is no distractions in the dressing room anymore from Theodore-Dagenais-Riberio (if you don't live in Montreal then you probably won't get that). Huet has been almost awesome and never seems unfazed by the media here and if you don't live here then you also wouldn't understand. I do wish the 2nd line would produce more because Kovalev seems a little quiet this season. But we;re 2nd in the east now so it's all good.

The Habs are really good this year. A real contender!! The coaching staff & general manager are excellent and their penalty killing this year is awesome. Only negative thing i have is that some games they do play a little sloppy and their 2nd line should produce a little more. But the young and old guys are really showing their talent this year. Goalies are great - I'm a big fan of Abby but Huet has been excellent. I hope they bring home a 25th stanley cup this year!! GO HABS GO

They're on fire! Huet stole the game last night. Habs are on best 30 game start since '92-93 under Demers. I see them going deep into the playoffs. GO Habs GO from Vancouver.

There's got to be something in Montreal's water.
All kidding aside, the Habs were always a team with a lot of heart. They're going to go far this season.

Yes, they are finding ways to win even when they are outplayed. A little more scoring would help.
