When you have 2 mirrors facing each other, their reflection bounced between the 2 of them goes off into eternity. Is there are proper name for that effect?

The two mirrors form an optical cavity. The light doesn't really bounce back and forth forever because there is slight loss each time it bounces off the mirror, and some absorbtion in the air. There is also the walk-off effect, where the mirrors and light may not be exactly perpendicular.
