I am 36 weeks & 3 days along today... Ever since yesturday, I have been having really weird symptoms....Like it feels like my baby's head is grinding against my pubic bone....and if I were to lay down and push she'd come out, also I have been really dizzy this morning, and been having little bits of the shakes (but I am not cold)....I've been having contractions (they are not painful....more or less just tightening)... I have also felt very nauseated this morning....and for the past few days I have been going to the bathroom with a lot of BM's...they are really not like diareah or anything... I just go a lot...and I also just feel numb around the vaginal area.....I was wondering if any of these are for sure true labor signs.....and if anyone experienced these signs them selves....how much longer after you did....was you on your way to the hospital....????Just wondering...since I have until Tuesday before I am fullterm....

My next doctor's appt is the 21st along with yet another sonogram....I wouldn't even know fi I had the nesting instinct or not...I clean like a crazy woman all the time anyway...so if I was having the nesting instinct it would seem like my normal behavior...

The shaking and dizziness is either from low iron or you really need to eat something. The baby is getting big so she or he is probably on a nerve not alowing blood to flow right and is causing numbness I get this all the time. Tightning is Braxtion hichs contractions and are good they are getting you ready for labor. Your baby is also head down by this late in the game and feels like she is going to come out because her head is in your pelvis. I am having all the same things as you. I am 38 weeks and 5 days and I feel pressure and like sharpe pains from the baby being on a nerve also I feel like she is going to fall out exspecially when I have to pee.(i dont know why)lol. Try eating more protien and foods with iron in it and you will probably feel better and the bm is probably from not enough iron to. But you should still contact or doctor or midwife just to make sure everything is ok. Good luck. congrats on the pregnancy

I agree contact you doctor. The baby had dropped and your body is preparing itself for labor. Another word of advice I would give is be sure you are keeping your fluid intake up. If you are dehydrated it can cause you to to have a lot of the symptoms you are describing. Take it easy until you have that sudden urge to get everything clean and organized ("Nesting"). That happened to me I felt great for one day and cleaned every thing around me. I went into labor the next day.

I WOULD CALL THE DOCTOR AND TELL HIM/HER ALL THIS INFORMATION. THE POTTY THING IS BECAUSE OF ALL THE PRESSURE IN THE AREA AS THE BABY DROPS INTO PLACE. THE BABYS HEAD IS LOW IT SOUNDS LIKE. I WOULD TAKE IT EASY. I DELIVERED AT 36 WEEKS AND MY BABY HAD PROBLEMS. SHE WAS IN THE NICU FOR 7 DAYS. SHE DID NOT GET TO COME HOME WITH ME AND THAT WAS SO HARD. SO YES REST A LOT MORE AND GIVE HER SOME MORE COOKING TIME.

I am 33 weeks and have started to feel her drop. I have also been having dizzy spells. As for some of your other symptoms, have you called your Dr? I plan on calling from here on out if anything weird is happening, this is the "critical time"

They could be signs of labor, or just your body preparing for labor. I'd call your doctor though about having the shakes, that could be a sign that your blood sugar is too high or too low.

It's definitely time to call your doctor and get checked internally. Sounds like the baby has dropped. Your doctor can tell if you are effaced (cervix softening) or dilating (cervix opening). I had a lot of your symptoms when I was in early labor.
Good luck!

It sounds like your body is going through the whole cleansing process. With me, i think it happened about a week before i gave birth. Just relax and take it easy. Remember anytime you experience anything you're uncomfortable with call your doctor.
