newsflash to jh: The Liberals were defeated last January. The Conservatives have been in charge since.

Republican Mom is doing true conservatives a disservice by demonstrating the inability to read. Otherwise she would know I am just as conservative as she is, if not more.

Who cares how Candians would have voted in US elections! They don't run our country, they are not citizens in our country, they have NO say whatsoever. Why are you leftys always so interested and concerned in what other countries think of our election process? It's truly absurd!

Actually, they would have been completely differenct. An entire socialist party would have emerged and taken over a few seats in the Senate (if Canadians get their fair representation). If they are just voters from the outside (like the absentee ballots) the Democrats would have won both times. Al Gore would be president right now and John Kerry would never have ran (since Gore is already in office). However, the United States doesn't let people from other countries vote. It doesn't even let immigrant vote untill they have citizenship. As the Know-Nothing Party said in 1856, Americans must rule America.

How cares about Canadians?

The interesting question what the result of the elections would be if every American would vote. Or if votes would be counted correctly and votes in Florida would counted appropriately.

This is an important question as 2008 there will be a new election. Le't hope this time Americans will not elect a "zombie"

Who cares? How do Canadians think their parliamentary elections would go if Americans could vote in them? Elections are for registered voters of a nation...

on second thought, maybe American should vote in Canadian elections and get rid of their leftist/socialist government. The trade of letting the few Canadians who would actually vote in American elections would be worth it. Get rid of Quebec, and make the rest of Canada the 51st state! Quebec, give to France, and build a wall around it.

About the same. Generally I think you will find Canadiens who vacation in Florida for the winter have enough money not to be socialists. Besides, Katherine Harris was still the vote mis counter - kidding on that one.

Canada would make a great 51st state. It's pretty obvious we would have voted in a democrat and not wasted half a trillion dollars of borrowed money on the Iraq rathole.
