5 weeks is a short time.. and I dont know how old you are either.. Everyone is different, and so is love. But never say that you love someone if you are truly not IN love with them, it could only end up hurting them in the long run. If you really like this guy, but not for sure yet on if you are in love with him, just let him know that. Tell him that you just want to make sure before you said the L word, and if he truly loves you, then he will understand.. Take your time and good luck to you!

You shouldn't tell him you love him unless you mean it, which I find it hard for him to love you if you have only been together for a little over amonth. He probably really likes you and maybe he is infatuated with you, but he should really get to know you better before he thinks that he loves you. It's not always just saying it, either, does he show it? Good luck!

I think you should do what you feel in your heart...if you love the boy back tell him that you do...if not then just simply talk to him and maybe tell him that you need some more time...cos if he really loves you then he should wait on you and respect your request...The best of luck to you and i hope things go good for you!

no, you cant love someone in only 5 weeks, you have to get to know them first and depending on the person that may take a couple years of consistantly being around them

i've heard something like this in chicken soup.
if you don't "love" him, tell him you're not ready
to say that. that's what the girl said in chicken soup [lol]
and he understood. they did not break up. if he doesnt respect
that, he's probably not good enough for you. (except in chicken soup she'd say she loved him, even though she didnt't. she ended up saying i love you in the end cause' she actually did)

You can't fall in love that fast. Right now it's probably infatuation. Love is a very serious matter, if you don't love him then don't say it back.
