One of the trio will die....I am thinking it might be Ron too. He will finally get to do something to set himself apart from his brothers.

SPOILER WARNING for anyone who hasn't read #6 yet - as if such a person exists!
I don't believe he will. And I better not be wrong!!! What we adults tend to forget is that this IS a children's series. Granted they've gotten progressively more grave, and Dumbledore did die, but I just can't believe that the hero of the story would be killed off even if evil was vanquished at the same time.
I don't anticipate a cheery happy sitcom-style ending, but I just don't think she would be that cruel......
And I better not be wrong!

He won't die. He will go on to become an auror and we'll see the adventures of Harry Potter- Evil Fighter!

I think Ron & Hermoine end up together, Harry and the Asian chick end up together and maybe she ends up pregnant and their child continues with the Potter legacy if Harry should die.
Bizarre as it may be but it could be possible

i think he will die, because the series has to end somewhere, if ron and hermonie die, harry is still there, and he would probally come back to hogwarts, and tht would be another book, but then he might not. but i think he will die

Dumbledore already died...Snape killed him. (in response to the person who thinks his principal will die)
I think Neville Longbottom will turn out to be the hero, or will do something really significant.
I really hope Harry doesn't die.

i've been thinking he would live and save snape's life somehow. but jk rowling hinted that "all good things must come to an end" and seemed to say that harry would die. it would be very disappointing...to say the least

In an interview J.K. Rowling hinted that she was going to kill off one of the characters, and also hinted even more it would be Harry. I guess we'll just have to wait!
