Absolutely not. I ask them to get on the hook. then I say thank you.

Ummm, not anymore cruel than putting on the hook, throwing them (still living, mind you) out into a lake to be consumed by some large (hopefully) fish.

Hmm, now that you mention it, kinda gruesome. Sounds like the sort of punishment they'd have in some place that ends in -stan for abusing a child.

No. That is their purpose in life, to be fed to the fishies. They can go to worm-heaven knowing that they died fer a noble cause. :)

I do especially when all of that gross stuff oozes out of them. For the most part I just feel bad for myself cause all of that nasty crap is on me.
