I haven't looked thoroughly at my diplomas (they're stuck in a drawer), but I don't think you situation is unusal. You are getting your B.S. from the university, not the Psychology Department. Your transcript will give the details about your degree. Don't worry. Be happy.

Yes. It depends on the university but a lot of schools only put the type of degree, not the major. Your major will be a matter of record at the school, and it really doesn't matter that much, since employers, etc. probably won't actually ever see your diploma.

I went to school to get an outside Ed degree (it grew to change into out) yet were given funneled into organic aspects Mgmt by my consultant, an paintings professor. I hated it. did not learn about the exterior Ed degree, so took a psych route and idea it replaced into exciting and were given a level in it when you consider that i did not comprehend what else to do now that my targets were lengthy gone. I heavily idea a lengthy time period about getting my Psych Masters and/or PhD, yet ulitmately, i did not love the sphere that a lot. So I took some flair assessments, got here upon out i replaced into good at accounting and information processing and eager to %. the only which sounded extra complicated to me. were given an associate degree in pcs and replaced right into a workstation programmer for 10 years. The psych degree somewhat helped because the regularly occurring programmer has the social skills of a 10 12 months old. I had to chortle at the same time as the Myers-Briggs assessments were given actual universal contained in the workstation and employer international, when you consider that i ought to wager the outcomes for all my managers and freaked them out. were given out of programming before the sphere crashed and burned and were given a set of outside certs and replaced into an outside training guide for decades, so finally were given to stay my dream. yet my lower back couldn't take the abuse (seems all and dissimilar in my relations has a nasty lower back), so went lower back to workstation appropriate stuff, yet had continually been drawn to education and did workstation programming education. were given drained of existence on the line, so grew to change into an instructor at a community college and moved my way as a lot as coordinator, application director and on-line distance gaining expertise of administrator. when you consider that i'm at an tutorial employer and function been for particularly many years and plan to stay, i'm virtually achieved with my Masters in training (somewhat education and progression), and am using for jobs now. i will probable stay the position i'm, yet i'm keen to be certain what's accessible now that I somewhat have a more effective degree and function some extra possibilities. i have idea about getting my Ph.D yet do not imagine it truly is needed when you consider that i favor to do extra technical stuff and practice and coach, no longer do analyze.

Yes, it is somewhat normal for that to happen. Most places will look at your transcripts to see what your focus was. But if you need to, ask one of the councilers about it.

thats perfectly normal. most universities don't print concentrations (majors) on bachelor's degrees. your official transcript has that info on it.
