I have a Samsung E900 with a memory card, it can play songs copied straight from iTunes without needing to convert them into mp3s.

There is no way to make MP4's into MP3's. I think that was Apple's idea so that you'd have to use their Ipods. I personally hate Ipods as they run out of power when you're out and about and you don't charge them up as much as you charge up your phone.
Best bet is just to start from scratch again with your CD's and use freerip (free download) to rip them into MP3's.

The way I do it, is I first convert the file into aac, then I bluetooth it onto my phone. I think you can only do that if you hav a mac OS X, so if u hav windows then I dont think you can do it.

once you plug your telephone into the computer, it would desire to take place as a detachable disk, you will discover it in "My computer". and there would desire to be a music folder and you would be able to desire to place the music you opt for in there
