It's funny that they want to drop that effort but want to track US citizens everywhere. There are so many cameras everywhere now. Soon with the shrinking of rfid chips and thier concealment in clothing the govt (or thieves/ terrorists/anybody) will be able to tellwho you are by scanning you with a rfid reader. Think I'm a nut, do some research about it and show me I'm wrong. Feel free to email me with links that negate my points.

There are a lot of obstacles, not the least of which is the requirement that every boarder point in the country be tied into the same system. There is also the question of what to do if the person doesn't leave when they're supposed to. CIS would still need to track them down and I don't know if they have the man power to do that.
US Visits is a good idea but there a million details to be addressed before it can be rolled out. For now, CIS should concentrate on making sure the no fly list is accurate.

Homeland Security couldn't track a package in a warehouse, much less all of the immigrants, visitors, and household pets in the United States.

Homeland Security is a bunch of people in expensive uniforms who sit on their backsides all day and ignore illegal activities, so they won't be confronted by the danger they hired on to combat.

IOW, they are worthless civil service bums- high paid welfare bums.

And they get VERY irritated when groups like the Minutemen point that out.

No!

Once they leave the country they are no longer a direct threat.

Besides, outside the country, it's the CIA's job not Homeland
Security.

MERRY CHRISTMAS and have a nice day.

Thank you very much, while you're up!!!!

Maybe we should concentrate our resources on who comes in, rather than who goes out.
