With all due respect ... only if it's in a wrist watch.
That's about as much performance you can expect from it even by standards set years ago.
Incidentally ...the timing is either off or you mistyped ...must be a 400Mhz....still forget Celerons altogether. They are unable to multitask & will surely fuistarte any multimedia enthusiast ...even just for sound.
Look for at least a P3 or P4 in any used PC....in the U.S. & Canada you can easily find one for under $100.

back in the day when it was a new cpu,yes,but that was almost 10 years ago.if your using an intel 440lx chipset you can run a p3 533,but thats it.it wont have much use except mybe as an archive system,or just something to dick around with.i have an old emachine 400idx just as a backup system

Depends on what you want to use it for...
If, for example, you want to have a Win98/2000 system just for checking e-mail and writing word documents, then it is perfect. With at least 256mb of RAM of course.
However, if you are looking for something that will run any new software (5 years old), then it is going to be slow.

mne seriously dont even think about buying one of those, you can get pretty good deals with P4 they are pretty cheap these days.
