In the commercial, the song starts: "how do i tell you that i love you, i love you". It is the Christmas commercial. The guy goes downstairs in the middle of the night and comes back and puts the necklace on his wife while she's sleeping.

It's 'How Do I Tell You" originally by Cat Stevens redone for the commercial by Cat Power. Many people are looking for the song but so far nothing. It hasn't been recorded and no one is finding the MP3 either.

According to Wikipedia, the song is indeed a cover of Cat Stevens "How Can I Tell You", and it's sung by a female singer named Chan Marshall (aka Cat Power). Her first album "Dear Sir" was released in 1995 and her latest album "The Greatest" was released in January of 2006. I haven't been able to find this particular track (that was used in the "Diamond is Forever" holiday 2006 ad)... and it doesn't look like it's going to be released anytime soon. But, maybe all this interest in the commercial will spark an interest in her recording/releasing it. Who knows?

i be responsive to that may no longer an answer, yet I got here approximately to have the business recorded, so listed under are the words... (NO success with yahoo or google searches!) " i think of that probably possibly i'm falling for you sure there's a wager that i've got fallen quite perplexing over you i've got viewed the trails that your eyes wander down I wanna come too" that's the hot adiamondisforver commercial, tagline "Love is a journey it is common with of out end" and that is their Christmas 2007 promoting. they could desire to be responsive to by this factor to place up the artists and music titles!!
