I am not able to see the top right buttons to minimize my screen or 'x' out

You can hit " alt" "F4" at same time to close open windows
also after closed right click mouse button opening display ,select properties . select settings tab in open window, change setting as needed!

try to change the image size of the screen using the buttons on the monitor
or you may have to change the resolution:
1. right click anywhere on the desktop
2. select properties
3.select settings
4. change it using the scale:screen resolution
