there is an interaction with these meds! You should talk to your doctor about other medications. Call TODAY!
Moderate Interaction
QUETIAPINE/PHENYTOIN
Seroquel Oral and Phenytoin Sodium Extended Oral may interact based on the potential interaction between QUETIAPINE and PHENYTOIN.
MECHANISM OF ACTION: Phenytoin may induce the metabolism of quetiapine by CYP P-450-3A4.(1)
http://www.medscape.com/resource/integrativemed
phenytoin and quetiapine may result in decreased levels of quetiapine and ineffectiveness.(1)
You may be able to take these meds together but you may need an adjusted dose to get the result.
Since your pharmacist cannot adjust your dose I suggest talking to your doctor!

George you asked the same question three times. Do these medicines give you the hiccups? Find a naturopathic doctor and get off the meds completely.

Call any pharmacist. Walgreens, CVS, etc. They are *VERY* knowledgeable abouts meds and if you give them the exact names your taking they will help you right there over the phone with no questions asked. They can probably tell you if any of the meds are clashing with any of the other meds.

I don't believe it is safe becuase seizure medication is not really supposed to be mixed with anything. I don't know those other drugs but if they are anti-depressants then you definately cannot take them. Your psychiatrist should have asked you if you were on any other meds (??)
