I'd doubt that, but it might be possible. Maybe something triggered inside of you that turned you towards women (as well as men).
Congratulation, you are bi-sexual (I think!).

No you cannot magically "become" a lesbian. Lesbianism is a lifestyle. I am a LESBIAN. Meaning, i am in a committed relationship with another woman whom i love for EVERYTHING. Not just sex. I love everything about women. Not only the physicalities. I can only achieve a true emotional link with another woman. That makes me a lsebian. You are probably attracted, but if u cant think of living the rest of your life without engaging in ANYTHING with a man....you are not a lesbian.

There's no yes or no answer to this question but my sister was straight but until 24 then was a lesbian for 5 years, and now is pregnant and with a man. There world would NEVER know! If you feel you are please don't make a big deal about it, just live your life because if you wake up and decide that your straight again, everyone would wonder if you need counseling.

you are bisexual, not a lesbian, if you are attracted to men AND women. you didn't "suddenly" become a lesbian. you more than likely, like a lot of us, suppressed or denied those feelings you had for a long time....but now you've finally allowed yourself to have them. because a lot of us are raised in a family/society where we were taught that "those people" are somehow evil/wrong/immoral, a lot of us are afraid of having those feelings, so we bury them. we try to live the "straight" life to please others, but only hurt ourselves and are miserable because we're living a lie.

In a word, yes. It doesn't happen that often, but some people do wake up one day to find that there sexuality has changed, completely shifted. They never had those desires before- they used to be one hundred percent gay or straight, no denial about hidden desires, and there was no 'bisexual period' . . . they just found themselves attracted to those they never used to be, and not attracted to who they used to be attracted to.

Why does this happen? I don't know that anyone really knows, but it can definitely occur, and I say enjoy it, and don't try to question it. Good luck!

I don't think you can "suddenly" become a lesbian.
the desire to be with other women was probably always there, but it may have been supressed due to our society.
And if you enjoyed sex with men also then you are bi-sexual.
Either way as long as you're happy and healthy Good 4 U!!!

Happy Holidays

Sounds more like bi-sexuality than complete lesbianism. If you were really just a lesbian, than you would not have been attracted to guys for such a long period of time.

You are probably what most people refer to as bi-sexual. Personally, I don't believe in labels. Whoever I fall in love with is fine by me. I am in a commited relationship with a woman but its not because I hate men and not because I was never attracted to them. That's just the way it worked out.

doubt it, you must have repressed the feelings until now. You certainly could still be attracted to men as well. sexuality falls on a spectrum with no one really truly 100% straight or 100% gay.

Sounds pretty unusual to me...it's not unusual to be a lesbian but not admit it to yourself when you are about 23.
