I know we don't dominate every sport, but as far as a team America usually comes out as winning the most golds AND overall medal totals. Not trying to ruffle any feathers but the proof is in the pudding. just wanted to know what you guys thought.

ummm Sports Guy-most americans probably want to see americans compete if they are still in the competion. they do show sports final even if americans aren't playing. Sorry if I don't want to watch CANADIAN BASKETBALL-but who does????

uhhhhh...ummmm....DRD- Europe is a continent...NOT a country. America however is a country. a damn good one at that. I think its sad that all those little european countries have to group themselves together to even TRY to be close and compete with America. The Olympics is a team sport. team coinciding with country for the purpose of the olympics. do your research before you try to anser a question. you r only wasting my time and yours. I can't believe you don't know the difference between a country and a continent

sounds to me like the other countries need to find more people in their country that have athletic abilities. and if u r in america, deal w/watchin american's on tv and not other teams. why would we wanna watch other countries compete?

I'm a New Zealander, and I think that generally America dominate because lets face it they have a stronger competition and that generally produces the higher quality opponents. If you want to be the best you go to where the best competition is and if its baseball then go to America.

As long as you are not watching it in the states (where all they show is the americans)
In Canada for the last Olympics CBC they show the final for most of the major event finals (if they didn't they show highlights)

am a non-american, y shud one be tired of americans , they r truly talented may be cruel but even there they r talented, americans r blessed with good brains, they dominate with skills and everywhere, y not, there r so many other countries having sources and power dumped but y r they not as strong as americans???............they just not pretend to dominate, nor to rule.....but they r capable of doing anything....u may ask y only america???.....and even i ask y only america...y not ur country dominate??? do u hav the answer....post it...lets see..!

I am from the US and even I'm tired of seeing this... I think we focus to hard on luxeries and not on neccesities, as a country
