It may seem like that. But bad things and good things happen to everyone.

Hmm good question.
Perhaps one reason maybe because, good people can handle bad things better people than bad people. It is a signalling light to everybody but not when a bad thing happens to a bad person.
Good people are strong and heart and have the abiltiy to correct it or at least work at making it good,it is a signal which strengthens them and makes them stronger and helps them continue towards doing more and more good deeds. It may not happen that much to bad people because they it will stop them from what they are doing which is bad.Come to think of it i do hope what i am saying does make sense.Anyway this is all evident when we see that good people die young because they deserve it and don't have to continue facing the hardships of this world and bad people die old as they are given a second chance to make up for what they have done or either to continue digging their own grave.

oh - wellwellwell... that's a delicate situation!! i've been through this too.. it's just because many people don't realise the importance of the good people and what the latter has done for them.. you just have the feeling like - whatever you do, it's never enough or the other don't care... bad things happen to good people as well as to bad people but good people see and feel the bad thing which bad people don't...

Depending on what your referring to as in people make this happen for us or just in general every day misfortunes. Misfortunes are just life throwing us situations which we are taught how to deal with and how we cope with each one. They make us stronger individuals. I think if it's people you are referring to we don't make it happen to us we let it happen to us without us knowing it until were hurt and that's when we realize this. There are a lot of snakes out there who prey and know how to manipulate and use Good people because there callous and that's what they do. I know because I have been a victim of this but every lesson has made me wiser and even more so a better person. I know not to sit on a pity pot and let my life especially people control my emotions. I am in charge of my own life and I try and make everyday my best day ever no mater what life throws my way. Learn from it and grow so you can move on.

Good people play by the rules, but not-so-nice people cheat to win.
Good people care about how their actions affect others, but not-so-nice people step on other people to get to the top.
Good people often believe in the inherhent goodness of others, and give people the benefit of the doubt, and thus often get taken advantage of. Not-so-nice people think everybody are just as mean-spirited as they are and so they don't think twice about screwing somebody else.
But I do think that in the end, the good guys win, because they are truly loved by their friends and family and they can sleep at night because they know that everything they have has been come by honestly.

Because satan is out to kill steal and destroy. It doesn't matter if you're a good person or not. God is there to help you get through the tough times. But since we're all sinners and live on this earth, bad things will always happen, because satan will never give up.

Not sure about that but I think bad things happen to both good and bad people. Plus what defines ones actions as good or bad. Isn't that rules of society that differ, is subjective and not universal!

The rain falls on both good and bad people the same. Bad things happen to bad people as well not to mention the messes they create for themselves. Just go visit your state prison and ask how many "good people" are enjoying such facilities.

What really pisses me off is that good things happen to bad people. Look at Pinochet, unlike the thousands of people he tortured and killed, he died in his bed at the ripe old age of 91, without ever having to suffer the consequences of his evil deeds.

you may see it that way, i know how it is too, cause i feel like bad things are ALWAYS happening to me. bad things happen to everyone, and good things happen to everyone... just stop looking at the negative, and more at the positive, may seem like theres not much positive... but even if its something small, just think about them more, and other thing less
