Where are you from basically if you let the forum know anybody will guide you & better put ooty as ottacmund or udaghmandalam so that people realise where are you going to from your place.

It's very easy. try indianrail.gov.in for rail information. If you are landing at Chennai then you have plenty of trains to connect coimbatore. from there you can take a public transport or a taxi to reach Ooty. For your information, the toy train from foot hills to Ooty is not operated since the rail line is damaged due to heavy rains. If you need mor information then mail me

To go to Otty you have to reach the place called coimbatore from coimbatore it is only 3 hours drive to ooty either you can go by bus plenty of buses are avilable or take a cab which may cost around Rs 500 to 700. Coimbaore is in thamil nadu and near to palaghat

Hi, you can try any train or Flight to Chennai or to Coimbatore. Ooty is very near to coimbatore.
BTW, Ms.Jasmeen - Ooty is the queen of hills in India in Tamilnadu. It is heaven and not hell.

From where you belong it is not mentioned by u anyhow Reach Banglore by train or bus or plane then Mysore also go by bus or train but not flight. And from Mysore you can get bus taxi, tourists cars for OOTY. Although from Banglore you can also get Direct Bus service for Ooty

you haven't tell from you want to comence your joourney to ooty. the easy way go mysor and hire a cab or you can go by bus. you can reach mysor by trian from chennai or banglore. you also try for rail website www.indianrail.gov.in

its simple, jus go to the indian railways website, n ther u can find out d details about your journey, try using google 2 find the website, if dat doesnt work then call a help line in ur city, n ask them if they can help, they usually hav some alternative .
