You can donate blood every week or two but once you sell your rhymes, they are sold for one price and become someone else's property. That person can make more money off your music than you would unless you have a residual income from use of your lyrics.

I am sorry to say, that selling your blood as ungodly as it might sound, pays more. Poetry, has a very weak market so weak, that it can barely breath.
