It is not our place, but they need to go. The US can't do it alone. They are trying to be the Superpower of the region, & the entire Muslim World conscience. If they succeed, the world economy as we know it, especially for the West, is in deep jeapardy.
A comment to the person who said the populace would get sick of them. They already are. In the late 90s, Public opinion against the Ayatollahs became strong enough that they elected a moderate, secular govt. after years of strikes & demonstrations, Problem was the Clerics controlled the Military & Police & a mob called the Revolutionary Guards. Because of the rising unrest, the Clerics were backing away from hard line tactics, waiting to see what the rest of the world would do about Iran's situation. The civilian Govt asked for help & peacekeeping troops from the UN & the West to buy time to reorganize their security forces under civilian control so they could be a fully functioning government.. Bush responded with his Axis of Evil speech, giving the Clerics the green light to do as they would. After Bush won election, the Clerics used the Guards to "clean house",. Opposition news sources were again shut down, politicians were again arrested, & the Mob broke up public gatherings at will. Without opposition, clerics "won" the next election. & solidified their power once again. If I was am Iranian or a Muslim from another country, I would be thoroughly urinated..
If you were an Iranian or Muslim citizen, would you trust the western leaders again? Especially the US? I have to ask why, with Bush's stated wish for a secular democracy in the Middle East, he let this opportunity escape him. What, exactly, are his motives for doing this?

Iran is a peace loving country. It has a long historical back ground. Iranian government is a democratic one. It was elected by their people and it is also for the people and of the people. It has no intention to occupy or take possession of any other country. It has no intention to intervene or interfere to the affair of other country.

Their president is a power hungry evil *sshole. He is sadistic and not fit for the position. Unfortunately Iran is pretty developed and their lifestyle like night and day in comparison to Iraq. I think they have a lot to lose with a leader like that.
