my fiance and i are still having sex and I am 33 weeks pregnant. my due date is not until the end of january. is it safe to still be having sex? we don't have sex every night, but i try to atleast 2-3 times a week because i heard that it makes labor pains less intense, and it makes labor in general a little easier to deal with and can sometimes make it faster. is this true? should I stop having sex or is it safe?

It is perfectly safe unless you have been told not to by a doctor or if you are experiencing any pain, fluid leakage, or bleeding.
I have never heard that it makes delivery easier...but the male semen does have something in it that that can help to soften the cervix and when a woman has an orgasm, it makes the uterus contract which can help to jump start labor if your body is ready.
Besides all that....sex is great and the closeness between you and your husband is wonderful. And after baby comes, it will be at least 6 weeks until you can do it again and then you may be to tired to.
You can continue to have sex all the way until the end!
Good luck and Congrats!

Unless your doctor puts you on pelvic rest you can have sex all the way up til your water breaks.
When you are close to delivering having sex can help bring on labor. It's perfectly safe. Enjoy yourself. :D

Yes, it's safe unless your doctor has said otherwise. Until your water breaks, it's OK to have sex. I'm 38.5 weeks now, and still going at it. :) I keep hoping it'll throw me into labor. :)
